Along with our regular April monthly meeting, we will welcome Fred Fochtman speak.

Fred Fochtman, is a graduate of The Ohio State University and continued his studies at the Columbus College of Art and Design. He is a figurative oil painter and art restorer.  He writes, “As a painter who works from direct observation, I move between different subject matter with still life being a part of that whole. When I am fortunate to recognize it, I am drawn to imagery that is found over that which is created.”

His artwork has been exhibited throughout Ohio, Maine and West Virginia, as well as Cuba. The winner of numerous awards, he has been an instructor and workshop presenter for 10 years. His artwork is represented by Sharon Weiss Gallery in Columbus
