Along with our regular October monthly meeting, we will welcome Kirsta Niemie Benedetti to speak. Kirsta Niemie Benedetti is a social impact artist in Columbus dedicated to integrating her art practice with her commitment to social change. Her recent work combines portrait painting with storytelling to elevate the voices of incarcerated women.

Tariq Tarey, a documentary photographer and refugee advocate, will join us. Tariq Tarey has been awarded for his photography and filmmaking. He is currently the Director of Refugee Services at Jewish Family Services in Columbus. Currently, Tariq is working on a book project documenting representative refugee populations in Columbus.
